quick and easy installation

very fast speed. I changed it from the default comcast. the speed went from 25 to 114 and that's fast and two different router outputs. No buffering with it

Pros
  • impressive
Cons
  • embarrassing

does the job. good for networking products

Worked reasonably well with minimal setup. The power button wasn't working for some reason so I took it apart to see if I could break something else, I mean to do some amateur forensics. Conveniently, the "Warranty Void" sticker was already broken, so I could only blame the last guy. As it turned out, the button was soldered from the circuit board. This was definitely in the past as there was still solder on the pads. Maybe the switch was the problem and the removal was a repair, in which case…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • No paint required

The item was repaired a few months ago.

A few months ago the product was repaired and it works perfectly. My previous modem is outdated and I've noticed a big difference in Wi-Fi stability with this product. I bought it for my Cox high speed internet as it was listed as the preferred modem for my level of service.

Pros
  • A wide choice
Cons
  • Makes me angry

So far, so good. on network products

Working for now. Although the package was just bubble wrap and no instructions were included. Basically, I was looking for instructions on how to change the wifi password and channel names. But luckily all the information was on the modem/router's side (although the side they indicate seems a bit dubious. It doesn't seem that easy to rename the 5GHZ channel). Everything seems fine. I just got off the phone with Xfinity and was able to easily switch my devices. I will change my rating in a few…

Pros
  • Full set
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Wrong parts with block

This block comes with a connector that doesn't even fit the adapter. The adapter has two round ends, they sent a plug with a round end and a flat end, I even tried to get it to see if it could fit but Def can't. The modem looks new but will not turn on without the correct AC adapter plug

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Annoying

No progress on Netgear yet

Netgear continues to be a boring company, reluctant to promote its products beyond updating the WiFi protocol. The GUI hasn't changed in years and it would be nice if it was well designed, which it isn't. Do not rely on firmware updates for this type of device. Wifi drops 50% through drywall at 6ft. But you're kind of forced to choose between several equally pathetic companies when it comes to just one solution. I anticipated this, so I'm going to turn off Wi-Fi entirely and use hotspots…

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Periodicity

Bad product and won't activate on the system

I bought this modem router on june 5th '19. My ISP does not repair or activate this modem. As you can see from the description on the Amazon page, this is wrong and wrong for this modem. A refund request will be forwarded shortly for a full refund with handling and packaging included.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • It bothers me
