Worked reasonably well with minimal setup. The power button wasn't working for some reason so I took it apart to see if I could break something else, I mean to do some amateur forensics. Conveniently, the "Warranty Void" sticker was already broken, so I could only blame the last guy. As it turned out, the button was soldered from the circuit board. This was definitely in the past as there was still solder on the pads. Maybe the switch was the problem and the removal was a repair, in which case the devices are sold as used? I'm sure I can find a workaround if I ever decide that Wi-Fi needs to infiltrate my tinfoil hat and be turned off. In any case, he has been working for Comcast for several months without any problems. The signal is strong and doesn't drop, so Alexa won't miss a word from me.
