Easy setup. Installed on a Dell desktop in a room quite far from my Wi-Fi router. I get 3 bars in the utility that came with the device, but that's normal for what I'm doing with this computer. I wonder if any of the devices with an antenna will have better reception? But like most NetGear products, it's easy to set up and works reliably.

When my built-in WiFi card failed, I looked for a replacement for the external USB. Tried TP-Link T2U Plus which worked pretty well but had a large high gain antenna. Decided to try this Netgear A6100 for smaller footprint and better speed. Unfortunately, this adapter was significantly slower than TP-Link. It's really easy to use but to even get the software to work I had to download the software onto my laptop and a flash drive to install get my computer. It is supplied with an INSTALLATION DISK.
