This device was easy to install. Replaced my Spectrum router and it works fine with their modem. Netgear customer support was helpful with questions.

I can't say I've used the UI much since I cleared it with Advanced Tomato Custom RAM. I did a reset first and for the initial setup I can say the firmware will be amazing. Includes firewall, antivirus and bedtime parental controls and many more features. Regardless, after my change, which I dispute, the signal is strong, stable, and consistent. I'm used to. Worth the price.

I bought this router to replace an old router but didn't install it because I was having internet speed issues. Got this router to replace a WiFi extender I had. Some of my devices that were further away from my cable modem would not connect. Now, with this router, I can get almost FULL SPEED/CONNECTION throughout my house and even the furthest parts of my yard. Definitely worth the money.

The Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 had a non-removable broken antenna. The fact that it wasn't detachable leads me to believe it could be fake as the usual assembly procedure is to attach antennas.
