There are no reviews for this particular Orbi Pro SXK80 router

The only reason I gave it one star is not because of the router. I went through almost all of the reviews and then created a filter for this particular router (Orbi Pro SXK80) but there aren't any. All published reviews are for a router other than the Orbi Pro SXK80. None of the reviews posted are helpful to me. I'm not sure how or why these reviews are listed under this router when it's clearly for something else. Possibly because they are similar, but that won't help a buyer who is looking at

Easy setup, great coverage, and very fast Wi-Fi speeds

The devices themselves are quite large, but well stylized so they're not too big to irritate the eyes. Easy setup with Verizon Fios at home. Have 1 router with Verizon modem and satellite on each floor of the house. That's probably overkill (probably 1 router and 1 satellite will do), but we're very sick of the poor connectivity. We used to have complete dead spots on the upper floor and on the terrace. Now the coverage is very strong everywhere and 100-120% download and upload speeds in everyโ€ฆ

Netgear Support N/A

I really wanted to like this product. I have had many Netgear modems and routers in the past. I've owned a consumer Orbi ax4200 for a while and it's been amazing - easy to set up, great coverage with router and 2 satellites, no problems. I decided to return it and replace it with a professional one because I needed more control over network segmentation and wanted the 4 professional SSIDs to separate work, IoT, guest and personal devices. However, I had problems with the goal. I was never ableโ€ฆ

Great networking device for business / still expensive

UPDATED: After several major firmware updates the system seems to have settled down and is working as expected. It's hard to compare this to my previous Netgear SK50 (consumer) system as it no longer works, but this Wi-Fi 6 Pro system seems more stable and reliable. The Insight app helps manage the system, but it should be free, at least for small businesses. I also wish the browser interactions with the system weren't disconnected so damn quickly. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I have a previous Netgearโ€ฆ

Orbi Pro 6 is not for the faint hearted

I chose this as a welcome upgrade to the house. I chose the Pro model because it sold for $60 less than the consumer equivalent and because the Pro also included wall mounts (which weren't included in the consumer package) for an additional $60 savings. I'm fairly tech savvy and have had decent success with Netgear products in the past so I wasn't expecting any problems. For those planning on taking this out of the box and setting it up as a wireless mesh, I don't think you'll have manyโ€ฆ

great performance and network separation features

I just bought this mesh system and am very happy with it. Previously, I tested the Orbi RBK752 model, which offered excellent coverage but had the ability to separate WiFi networks by VLAN. This was a hurdle for me as I have multiple smart lights, sockets, cameras and other IoT devices and wanted to separate them and limit their bandwidth and access. Additionally, I have multiple multimedia devices and wanted them separated from lights, outlets, etc. as their bandwidth requirements and profiles

  • Available in white only

RealTakeOn SXK80 for routers

I couldn't find any real review of the SXK80. Most reviews/ratings are based on RBK852 or other Orbi systems and are not relevant. I bought it on a limited price when the SXK80 was cheaper than the RBK852 I was planning to buy. I wasn't interested in the Insight App Subscription Service and have only managed it through the local web interface so far. The SXK80, router + 1 satellite, advertises 6,000 square feet of coverage, while the RBK852 specifications show 5,000 square feet of coverage in a

Good system for SMB or Networking Pro. NOT for the average consumer

FIRST WARNING: NO NETGEAR TECH SUPPORT. WHEN YOU BUY A NETGEAR PRODUCT YOU ARE YOURSELF INDEPENDENT, SO YOU BETTER BE MORE THAN A HOUSEHOLD CONSUMER OR A TECHNICAL CONSUMER IF YOU CONSIDER PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT. That being said, if you have the know-how, this is a solid offering. by Nethir. Here are my thoughts. For example: has the features I want and need to support separate business, school, home, and guest networks through the same router and satellite hardware, allowing all connectedโ€ฆ
