Great signal and fast. Not easy to set up

This router worked well. I had this for a few days and my internet spectrum went from 50Mbps to sometimes over 100Mbps. I also get a very long range signal to my yard which is 75 feet from my house. I would still recommend using a Wi-Fi extender as it cannot give you a full signal on the second floor of a house. I gave it four stars because this router wasn't as easy to set up as some of the other routers I've had.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • So far so good

Do not buy! for computers and accessories

It worked well for a little over a month, long enough that I couldn't return it, then it became very intermittent. This has been ranked as one of the best on many websites so I'm very disappointed. It runs part of the day and then shuts down multiple times for more than an hour. It is very uncomfortable when you work on the computer or watch a movie. My previous Netgear worked without problems for many years and I only bought it because I gave my son another one. Very dissatisfied with this…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Easy setup, great signal.

I have to say that I have never had a router that is so quick and easy to set up. I just had to use my phone. Didn't have to create a tired old IP to get there. Installed the app and agreed to the prompts that make you change the admin password immediately, which is good. Can be easily configured with a PC or even a phone via a browser and without an app. It automatically adapts to your needs. Very well done. The signal is excellent. With 2.4GHz I can be about 100 feet outside and there is…

Took 2 weeks on routers

We have AC1900 Nighthawk NETGEAR wireless router, we really like it. Very stable, long signal range, good network speed. We bought this refurbished model -AC1750 to increase the distance to our Wi-Fi network. Small company with a large area to cover. The AC1750 was more difficult to set up, although the software setup is the same. There were connection issues the first time I set it up, after installing it worked for about 2 weeks, and then it just shut down completely. I would stick with…

Much better wifi speed in a big house!

Netgear is a big name among routers. This model performs well, is easy to set up given the number of features, and was sold at a reduced price of $69.99 because it was certified remanufactured. This not only improved the 2.4GHz wireless connection in the big house, but also made the 5GHz wireless signal strong enough to be used anywhere. That's a HUGE performance increase. Just to make sure everyone understands, 5GHz offers faster data transfer rates than 2.4GHz. But 5GHz also has a shorter…

Great router great price

This is for a refurbished unit. Excellent signal strength, over my garage and past many obstacles, the only one of the four and the cheapest that was able to provide good signal level out of the box. - Support for DD-WRT is a huge plus, flashed to DDWRT and now a crazy router. - Router software often sucks, and Netgears is no exception - Their default firmware sucks - Bought this device to connect as a client to finally have internet upstairs.

Pros
