I bought these for my six year old daughter. I bought the 1 1/2 WIDE because other shoes with velcro don't always close the way I would like. The width made the difference for the velcro to attach properly. She loves them and says they are very comfortable. I bought black and purple which don't get dirty easily.

Shoes with a very tight fit. They are also shorter than expected in length. I ordered a half size larger than their current shoes and they are smaller than any other brand we have. Only the tip of the velcro closes, my 2.5 year old daughter complained every time I tried to put these shoes on. Dear Revain and New Balance, You have sent us defective shoes! My son loves these New Balance kids shoes. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable, and we love that they come in a wide variety.
