👟 Experience Optimal Running with New Balance Kids' FuelCore Nitrel V5 Shoes Review

I've worn a New Balance for 20 years. Now we have a convert. My 5 year old is difficult to classify. He says it's comfortable. That's a win for these shoes!

To be honest I don't know if people who think these shoes are of poor quality are actually watching their kids play. Small children love to drag their feet. So, as a parent, if you don't fix them, their shoes will break. They offer great support, wish well and most importantly have a great trail running thread, this is a new balance product, it should mean everything. Our kids have worn them for decades, we play a lot and they sell well.

Bought these for my 10 year old who runs cross country and loves them. He likes the fit and the weight, and he also likes the traction when running off-road. Overall a great purchase!

Good quality. My daughter has wider feet than regular sneakers so she said they fit well. Her only complaint is that the heel angle is narrow and not rounded, so she slides a bit. it was the same in both sizes smaller than 6 and 6.5.

We love them but the week before I bought my daughter a smaller size 2.5 NB kids sneaker from another store. We ordered size 3 for small children and both shoes seem to be the same size. We were hoping they were a little bigger. They appear to be half a size smaller as they are exactly the same size as their smaller pair. Also, my daughter loves the fit of the NB sneakers and the color combo goes with all of her outfits. Happy 8 year old.

These shoes are great! Overall, these are comfortable, beautiful shoes. Dark colors hide dirt well. My daughter is happy!

My son loves these sneakers, but the shoes run a bit small. The details are beautiful, the fabric is durable. I would definitely buy this show again.

Fits perfectly. With them the child lives more than 4 months, which is a lot given his level of activity. He had previously tried another pair so he had something different but after a week he went back to a new pair. Highly recommended.

Nice light shoes with stylish colors. The fit is good from heel to toe. Much better suited to my son than Nike or Asics which were narrow on the sides and toe.

I bought them for my son. I used the size chart and measured his foot. He loves them and doesn't complain about the shoes. The laces are a bit short so he has a hard time tying his laces. My son is 8 years old. But frankly, out of laziness, he tries to tie the laces in everyone's shoes.

My son loves these shoes. I love that they are inexpensive and come in 1/2 sizes. Time will tell if they keep up the running club at his school.

Great shoe for a very active 7 year old. The only downside to these shoes is that the laces don't stay tied, even when double-knotted. This is our second pair of the new Balance and we had to replace the laces on both pairs.

I ordered New Balance sneakers for my daughter. The shoes were very comfortable and the color was good. However, the sizing was not accurate compared to other brands of shoes my daughter wears. These shoes were much smaller and fitted snugly on their feet. We returned them.

My child has narrow feet and I know NB usually fits a straight narrow foot but these (regular size, not a special tight fit) are super tight! She wore them on the worst hike we've ever done because she kept complaining about how awful the shoes felt. I've had other NB trail shoes in the past that were great, not this one. There seemed to be no space at all on the sides of her legs. Very small. If you have anything other than a very narrow foot, I would try a wide one instead.

My daughter's last pair of New Balance shoes is literally a year old and the only thing wrong with them is that the tread is worn in places (she wore them almost every day) . You also only need the next size up. I ordered this in pink as a replacement. So far they seem to be of the same quality as the previous pair and she loves them. Comfy, cute, affordable and if they're like the last couple. Literally the BEST trainer she has ever worn, so super durable. Saying that about children's shoes is

My son really liked the look of this shoe so we decided to try it. He was running cross country for his high school team and had heel problems due to a recent growth spurt. As soon as he started wearing these shoes in training, his heel pain (which up to that point was pretty well controlled with stretching) suddenly got a lot worse.
