I only installed this a few weeks ago so can't comment on the durability of the part. But it was a direct OEM replacement for my brake pressure sensor in my 2006 330ci and it worked as expected. My trouble codes were cleared and everything worked as it should.

Are you trying to repair a faulty pressure sensor 5E24, is the problem most likely in the ABS module? The diagnosis was wrong, really not a fun job to replace the ones hidden under the master cylinder. If you can check the error code they are significantly cheaper than the original part!

Note the red circle on the pins of the plug. There is a slot on the fork. My 2004 BMW Z4 has a slot next to another pin. I contacted BMW and they said that part number 34521164458 fits my car. The connector in my car does not fit this part. I'm glad I tried it before changing the part.

Tried to replace both on my BMW Z4, E85. The first exchange was canceled after 3 months, the second after almost 7 months. Good idea if you are selling a car. Needs to be replaced again, this time with OE. Almost fits too, you have to cut the plastic to hook the connector.
