Compact and handy soldering iron - highly recommended.

I've wanted to try one of these mini soldering irons for a long time and now that I have it I see what all the fuss is about. The soldering iron is programmable but I don't know anything about it other than that it's possible. Based on the time I've spent with the TS80p, it's proven to be a handy and easy-to-use soldering iron. I've attached a video showing me fiddling with the UI a bit as I've never used either one before so it may take a while to get used to it. The TS80p heats up quickly and

Excellent soldering iron at a very good price

This MINIWARE NewHail TS80P digital soldering iron is an updated version of the excellent TS80 soldering iron and is a sister product to the TS100. This soldering iron is superb in its performance and although the price seems high it is the cheapest I have found and definitely worth the investment. Good for very small projects.

Professionally, I worked as a hand solderer in an electronics factory. I've been soldering for about 40 years. I have two soldering workhorses that I stumbled upon hoping to expand my soldering hardware. My base station is a Weller WE1010, which is pretty much the gold standard for soldering irons, and a Weller/Portasol butane soldering iron for when I need to get away from my desk.
