Ideal for Skoolie

Very easy to fit on the domed roof of a school bus. The inner bracket is adjusted to the Z bracket, and the outer side is adjusted according to the curvature of the bus. Excellent strong hold!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Other Other

You expect Newpowa fasteners to match Newpowa panels, right?

Doesn't fit in his panels! The slot on the side of the panel bracket is in the wrong place, so you'll either have to drill new holes in the solar panel's frame (which will void the warranty), cut the "ears" off the brackets, or use much smaller diameter screws .

Pros
  • Free for training purposes
Cons
  • Working speed

The system is too big for newpowa solar panels!

Good mounts. The bolts are too big for my newpowa solar modules! Only 2 sentences. And none of them match the solar panels I have and they are made by the same company! Next time I'll buy generic (unbranded and MUCH cheaper!)

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some cons

Bought for off label use. very durable, good stainless hardware, great kit!

What a bargain at twenty bucks! I got on one of them and jumped (I weigh less than 150lbs now) and the clamp barely dented the corner! I use them to fiddle with my homemade roof rack and the aluminum is very strong and the shape of the bracket makes it easy to cut individual "planes" with a hacksaw. Used to cap the extrusion ends of V-grooves and T-grooves, which is much cheaper than ordering plastic caps. Love it!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Low maintenance

My Newpowa solar modules were installed in no time.

They have many holes (you only need one or two) so they can be adapted to any situation. The stainless steel fittings gave me a good feeling that I wouldn't have any rust spots dripping off the roof of my motorhome later on. They mount the solar panels high enough above the roof to make room for cables underneath. In fact I liked to have my cable gland and all cables installed under my panels to protect them from sun/UV for a long time and the solar panel gave them shade.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Do not use them on RVs/trailers!

I installed a solar panel on the roof of my trailer using this kit. Screw it in to spec and after a few hours of driving I had a flying solar panel held up by half the screw. The screws that go into the solar panel didn't stay on, one bracket came loose from the roof, the other 3 came loose from the panel. It also sits MUCH higher than the other mounts. Luckily I drove during the day and saw it, otherwise it would have been much worse. I switched to another one and am much happier, lowerโ€ฆ
