I'm not sure about many of these German car aftermarket products

After installing it in my car, my OBDII generated 3 new codes. I cleaned my mass air flow sensor and reinstalled the old one and I have no different codes than what I originally had before installing it.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Fits but does not seal like original part

Part looks like an OEM part but does not fit like an OEM! The original part is inserted and seals with a rubber seal on the engine cover. This replacement part is slightly undersized, will wobble in the gasket and will not seal satisfactorily.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Replacement available

Good quality and workmanship

Great price! My 2007 VW Beetle granddaughter had a problem with it not continuing to work. It idled for about 30 seconds, then just stalled and died. I've been struggling with this problem for several hours. The obd2 reader showed a malfunction of the mass airflow sensor. Worth a lot of money at the VW dealer. It was worth the risk. Good price!

Pros
  • Practical item
Cons
  • So far, so good
