🤗 Nexcare Coban Self-Adherent Wrap, Tan, 1 Inch x 5 Yards Review

Two types of arthritis and severe pain in some fingers / New OT recommended wrapping fingers to help with swelling, which relieves pain and provides some protection provides / more slowdown to deal damage. I use it on one finger every day and it helps with pain at work, wraps others at night. Helped the pain and made sleeping easier. It was a great help and a cost effective solution that improved the quality of my daily life.

This is our second purchase and it arrived the same way - in plastic packaging. Photos should help if anyone is curious. No stickiness on the skin. No irritation. Easily removable to wrap desired areas. The bandage sticks securely to itself and keeps its shape even with a quick shower (the film is removed after the shower but is necessary to protect the area). Item arrived in a plastic bag not the box pictured. I used this to "dum" a broken pinky toe and it didn't stay in place until I wrapped it around the entire foot. And then sometimes it would roll under my leg and form an uncomfortable protrusion. Then I just taped it around two toes and then put some tape on the top of the foot and around the toes and all was good. It had the ability to be self-adhesive and I think it would work well in places other than the toes.

I've bought it twice already as I use it pretty quickly and the price is great. Please note that they will be sent in a plastic bag and it is not clear how old they are. I'm assuming it's just an "expiry date" sold in a box. Definitely + this is a real brand + very sticky - the stickiness is different than the boxed version. this one seems "too sticky" (on its own). That's why I'm only giving it 4 stars. The same 3M product must be identical if bought here in bulk or in rolls at the pharmacy.

Love that you get 5 rolls. I would have paid that price in store but they weren't available. I use this compression bandage after finger surgery. I apply a bandage just over the healed cut to reduce the swelling. When I first tried it, I put it on in the morning so I could control the tension I had applied it with earlier - so it wasn't too tight. Very good tape. Works very well on thin, sensitive skin. This is the same one our doctor used, much better than the tape available at local pharmacies. Can be reused but depends on how carefully you use the wrapping area. It will stick with light pressure, but any hard pressure will make it difficult to remove, so you may not be able to reuse it.
