I've had quite a few automatic feeders and I have to say this one is way bigger than anything I've ever seen. I understand the sizes are listed but man I wasn't expecting that. This is great for capacity, but with the caveat of limited space. If I attached it to the side of the tank, it would release food onto the gas cap (even with a few inches of space between the gas cap and the rim of the tank). , I use mine on a 3/4 gallon micro tank. I don't use the included and detachable clip on the base. I just mount it on top of the tank and simply secure it with a few pieces of tape with the dispenser positioned over the feeding hole.
