Clear as possible near and far

It was a gift and my husband loves it. He likes that he can be near and far. Birds circling the bird feeder to cover his bushnell, they won't focus that close, Nikon does both and he couldn't be happier!

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Clarity

misaligned, can't see with both eyes

light weight and excellent 12x magnification but alignment is disabled. So when both eyes are open, you see double. I have other brands of Porro 12x25 prisms with no problems, I see fine but this pair just doesn't fit.

  • good stuff

Good value for the Camera & Photo category

As an ornithologist who prefers to use his weight with his camera and lens these are my favorite binoculars. I have some bigger ones, some smaller ones, some even bigger ones, but I'd rather wear and use this pair than any other. With a little practice, you will find the subject quickly and focus on it quickly. And the optics are of course very good.

Pros
  • A handy item
Cons
  • A few little things

Big! Good performance, light weight

I love these little binoculars and always wear them around my neck when taking pictures or just spotting birds and wildlife. They have fairly high power, which means a narrow field of view, so it takes some practice to get a small, distant object in view, but once you do, you'll get a good view. In my experience, these small binoculars are more stable to hold than large ones.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Functionality

Made our trip so much more enjoyable.

We used them on a 2 week holiday in Europe which included a 7 day river cruise on the Rhine and 3 days ashore in Switzerland. We were able to see some incredible places (castles, mountain ranges etc.) from the boat and had some amazing views on the Matterhorn in Zermatt with these binoculars. Good value for money. Executed flawlessly and were very light and easy to use.

Pros
  • These are amazing
Cons
  • little things

But good binoculars.

(updated) After about 10 hunts, the grip on the outside of the binoculars fell off. I think it's just glued in there but I can't find it to glue it back. This doesn't bother using it at all, only a downside as I haven't used it much yet and I was sad to see that somehow I lost it. I switched from big clunky binoculars to these and will never go back! Lightweight but most importantly crystal clear and great quality!

One of my best travel companions

These Nikon 7279 Travelite VI 12x25 binoculars are my fourth and especially my second travel binoculars. I'm very pleased with the compact design (inwardly curved optical tubes), light weight (promotes ease of use, which minimizes image shake, a huge plus at 12x magnification and literally a headache) and the image quality is pin sharp (noticeable even in night scenes), operas, sports). The central focus is solid and stays where it is set. The right eye diopter adjustment moves 1 degree per…

Ideal binoculars for travel. Small. Light. Good magnification.

I bought one of these Revain glasses used, but the prism in one eyepiece was misaligned. I see this issue has been mentioned in other reviews. I was able to return them with no problems and bought a pair in MINT condition. Everything was perfect this time. Very pretty and sharp. I have a trip to Costa Rica ahead of me so I wanted a pair that would allow me to see things in the forest. So at the top of the tree, not on Mars. It's 12-25. 12x magnification, and 12x is fine for what I need. If you…
