2 wire pisses me off. Easy to install, looks great and fits perfectly with the wires under the armrest of my 2003 Volvo Xc70.

so i wanted to replace 2 out of 3 cigarette lighter style with USB style. So I bought 2 USB style packs sold by the same manufacturer. Well, they don't actually make replacement parts, they just claim the parts are interchangeable, but who knows where to get the right fit. illusion

Works great as a complement to my 4Runner. I inserted it into the blank panel in the rear wheel well. I connected it directly to the battery to always be on the charging station. This allows me to check battery voltage and charge various items. In the future I would like to use it to keep the fridge running during a hike. Highly recommend this if you want to connect an always-on charging station to your ground unit while also keeping an eye on your battery.

The panel looks great and works as advertised but the pre-wired harness is rubbish. To install the panel I had to disconnect spade connectors from various components, which is to be expected when installing on a boat. In this case, the wires literally fell out of the tabs. Either the crimp was incomplete or the connectors weren't strong enough to hold the wires in place. I built my own wiring harness using my own spades and wires, installed it and powered it up. I love this little thing.

I use it in my van, it has an extra power supply for the passengers and to turn on some of the interior lights installed. The device is stylish and functional. I replaced a power connector to add a switch to control the lights, it was easy. However, when I unplugged the toggle switch, I found that the keyhole access on the original switch and the additional switch was horizontal, but the keyholes on the black panel or vertical. I bought this on behalf of the 24v compatibility to use with my 24v solar system to charge all my USB charge devices. However, when I connected it to my 24V solar system, the voltmeter box immediately flared up and released magical smoke. I tried catching the smoke and putting it back in but it didn't work. Slim, strong, durable and easy to install. It's great that cigarette lighter sockets have a locking feature to keep the plugs from vibrating freely. Quality components but the assembly of the product wasn't very good, three sockets were swapped and loosened and the toggle switch wasn't even attached to the collar - see 1st photo. I gave four stars instead of five because you can't see the voltage meter when there is sunlight. It's ok at night, but useless during the day. That being said, I bought the panel mainly for other components, so it doesn't really matter. I've read reviews that said the plug terminals are retractable.
