The frying basket was not included.

I ordered stainless steel and paid more money for it, came with a cheap ceramic coated pan. I got the impression it was stainless steel. The fryer basket was in all the videos we watched, but it wasn't included at all on this model, so we ended up paying more for less. It doesn't bother me at all. Model OS301 6.5Q

Slow cooking function.

All of the functions on this cooker are excellent and I have used almost all of them with great success. I used the slow cook feature to make chicken broth and it was great. But the second time I tried it, it had trouble getting up to temperature. I've noticed other people have left similar reviews, but other than the slow cook feature, it works great. I'm just deeply disappointed that I paid for it and didn't do everything it said it would do.

  • There's something to it

Very impressive! in fryers

The Ninja Foodie 10-1 is by far my favorite kitchen appliance. I bought it on Black Friday and use it literally every day. I used a mixture of pressure cooker and fryer, broiler. I made a meatloaf that will melt in your mouth. This shortens the time drastically. Roast (beef and pork) in an hour and a half instead of 6-8 hours! Sauté chicken drumsticks, quinoa drumsticks, potatoes and carrots for 20-25 minutes. I also used it to make the best brown sugar glazed Christmas ham in 30 minutes! So…

Possibly the best kitchen purchase I've ever made

I've had this for about 2 months and have used it about 10-15 times. EVERYTHING turned out great. Except for the steak, which I overcooked. But that was because I didn't know how long to cook it (I like my beef to be very done but charred on the surface). I used most of the features except the slow cook feature. I've made yogurt 4-5 times and I really enjoyed it! I think the best part is how easy it is to wash. When burning, the smoke detector does not work, the stove does not splash. It's a…

Cons
  • Running Speed

I bought this to make cooking easier. I opened it up, set it up and started reading the instructions. Thought I was getting a slow cooker/slow cooker but with the speed and ease of pressure cooking. I always thought those quick release pots/hobs meant adding meat and veggies and turning on the switch. NOT CORRECT. Every recipe I looked up was very labor intensive. As if I were a gourmet chef. Plus so many things given away for cleaning afterwards. Lid, pot, slits in the object. I packed and…

The woman loves it. Says it's easy to clean. Cooks like a dream!

Everyone should have one. My kids are both 5qt. Small for a family of 4 but not too big. Good size for 3 with lots of space. We have a 6.5 liter pot which is basically the same size but a deeper pot. If you have a family of 4-6 people, you can choose 8 liters. One works the same as the others, but pay attention to all the features as they differ on some models. Study model numbers, descriptions, etc. carefully. Available used, refurbished, in brown packaging (new and refurbished) and new 'for…

Air fryer models vary

I bought this 6.5 liter model 301 and I love it. However, Ninja offers a variety of Foodi models that vary in features and trim levels. I didn't end up with the crispy crust basket that I see in all those very good YouTube videos. (I especially like the Salted Pepper channel). Instead I got a crispy plate. I also did not receive the cookbook that comes with some of the models. The crispy basket sells for $25 on Ninja's website, and I feel like I can do without it. However, I have cooked a lot…

Our Cooking Droid: Kitchen & Dining

For comparison, we bought an Instant Pot a few years ago. It was an image! He had an issue that caused him to read and shut off BURN during the cooking process. While it works well, the time saved for relatively quick meals like rice was minimal, which is true for Foodi as well. I tried to find an instant bank to solve this problem but after more than 10 hours without success. After one last FIRE, I threw this thing away in a fit of frustration (not my last lesson!). Fortunately, this gave us…
