Enhanced Nintendo 3DS Slide Pad Expansion for Improved Gaming Experience Review

If only there were more games that supported this gadget. This device offers a much-needed second analog and extended shoulder button. Installation is straightforward (literally) and the device picks it up right away if you download a compatible game. I use it for Sega 3-D Classics arcade games (it's a revelation after Burner II). Recommended if you have the right games. However, I would like Nintendo Circle Pad Pro support for Super Smash Bros.

I am ordering three of these for Christmas: one for me, one for my son and one for my daughter. Turns out my son has the latest 3DS model and didn't need it and it's not compatible with mine (little one). It fits my daughter's 3DS so it worked at least 1/3. So I bought it knowing it would only work for certain games but hoping for something that would make using the 3DS more convenient. It's easier to hold, but it adds bulk to the system, and while the Pro's round pad doesn't weigh much, you'll feel the difference by holding the 3DS when it's attached.
