My Xterra has done 122,000 miles and the trunk was difficult to open. These racks were very easy to install and made a HUGE difference when it came to opening the trunk.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Hard to say

Easy to install and works great! Very important!

Installed on my 2006 Nissan Xterra. It took about 5 minutes to install both sides with a stick to support the tailgate. Now I don't bang my head on the tailgate anymore! Great price for a great pair of racks.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Some defects

Exactly what I needed!

I was looking for a cheaper way to keep my tailgate from falling off than going to a mechanic. This product was very easy to install, especially when you have a friend hold the tailgate for you. I was done in less than five minutes. They were very stiff at first, but quickly wore out and worked perfectly for a little less than a year.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • No insurance

Best $20 I Ever Spent

My wife's 2006 Xterras tailgate wouldn't open fully due to old pistons and cold weather. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it until I almost fainted over it.... They arrived the next day and it took me 5 minutes to exchange them…. My advice: use a broom to open the gate before removing 1 to replace it…. This saves you some trouble.

Pros
  • Finally Bought
