possibly designed for tricycles

This is preliminary, only during my first night ride, but I need to remove the spacer to fit the last belt hole on my road bike. It's my own fault for not ordering an old collar for a model. It's on, but halfway without a neck grip. Another case where the designer never used the product. I try it as it is, too many problems to send it back. Instead I would use a pair of rubber bands of the right size.

A great upgrade for the handlebar mount that is backwards compatible.

This mount is much better than the old screw mount. It has a lower profile so it doesn't interfere with other cables and accessories. Get on and off faster. This is a tighter match to the light, preventing the light from flickering. It even fits handlebars with a 35mm clamp. It's just as secure on the handlebars and strong enough, plus it's not too expensive and works with the lights that came with the old clamp. Great mount for great flashlights. Good design work, Niterider.

Improper workmanship, flashlight rattles in bracket

I've been using these brackets for my Lumina 750 flashlights for years. I needed a new one because the rubber band on my previous one was starting to fail. Apparently the workmanship has deteriorated as the rails the light slides on are too loose causing the light to rattle when driving. My old one fit perfectly. I don't like things that rattle or squeak on my bike, so I installed a small piece of old pipe to create enough friction for the light to stop rattling. Obviously this shouldn't beโ€ฆ
