Light started great but stopped working after 4 months

Was a great light and showed good quality straight away. no complaints. Lately the light won't turn on when the power button is pressed. The light stays on for 2-3 seconds and then turns off. The light is not in lock mode and I tried it with a full battery. There is no way to force the light to stay on regardless of different approaches. I checked the battery terminal, which is soldered in this version, so changing the battery is not easy and it registers a voltage above the nominal 4.1V when…

Spectacular flashlight for the road and as a replacement for MTB

Good flashlight for use on the road. My typical trips are 30-40 miles. He'll take you home if you get caught after sundown. The runtime is not really enough for a whole ride in the dark. As a mountain bike light, this is a good secondary light. You want something with a wider beam if that's the only one. The same limitation of working time, one hour is not enough for the whole trip. Just so you know where I'm from, I've been a night time MTB rider for 20 years. In the early days we were very…

I ride intermediate/advanced trails, some borderline enduro. I .

I ride intermediate/advanced trails that sometimes border on enduro. I'm not the fastest, but nobody waits longer than a sip of water. My typical ride is about 25 minutes uphill, 10 minutes downhill, and then again. The ideal setup is one on the handlebars and one on the helmet. When climbing, the minimum settings on both are sufficient. When you get to the top of the hill, double click on it in boost mode and send it! The missing star is used for clamping. It just doesn't get as tight as it…

Great light at an affordable price.

Finally, when you drive in winter you need good lighting, not only to improve the visibility of the vehicles, but also because you inevitably drive in the dark. This light is enough to drive through the countryside in the dark. It has multiple brightness levels that can be easily toggled between. In addition, there is a blink setting from low to bright, which is very handy for rides that take place in daylight but overcast. I've ridden with people who use a more expensive headlight marked…

I like all in one

This light was exactly what I was looking for. I have had previous NiteRider flashlights for the past 12 years and both have worked very well. Earlier flashlights had separate batteries. I love the all in one and with improved battery technology this unit has the same battery life and more lumens than previous flashlights I've had. I thought about buying an upgraded model with a digital display but decided it was more than I needed. I saw some reviews complaining that the mount wasn't very good
