It's a 50/50 game.

Well after 3 packs the final product was pretty good. Comes with a built in 15A fuse which can be removed if it blows. The construction looks very well built, it's a thick 16g coated wire which I think is good in terms of the socket itself. I can see where other reviewers have issues with leftover accessories. appropriate. The female plug is smooth as butter, so your smaller USB plugs will likely have a harder time staying connected, while your (for example) DVR plug will stay much better…

Better than expected.

I take a lot of photos and also make videos remotely. The availability of a power source is fairly rare in many of these remote areas. So I buy spare UPS batteries and put them (safely) in my tote bags. This type of connection allows me to charge the batteries while driving using my car/van/truck's cigarette lighter socket or solar source. They then also serve to use the inverter for charging and/or to keep my photo equipment and its accessories fully charged and ready. The fuses built into…

Warning: Appears to be aluminum wire, not copper - may not meet 15A rating

We have just purchased this for use with our AGM solar/12v camping power system. For compatibility with this system, the tabs have been replaced with Anderson Pole connectors. When stripping wires for Anderson Pole connectors, we noticed what appeared to be 100% aluminum wires instead of "100% high conductivity copper wires rated at 15 amps" in the product description. As some of the copper wires are tinned to resist corrosion, we have also carefully examined the cut ends of the wires and so…

NOCO always delivers - no exception here

Overall this product has the quality and finish of NOCO products that I have come to expect. Wire cross-section is large, connectors are made in signature NOCO style, and all connections seem tight and secure. Force exerted on the structure, as is the case with terminals. The socket is high quality and works great, but has no NOCO feeling. It has a screw cap and a matte plastic body with no special moldings. For example, I would like the look and feel of the NOCO to be built into a screw cap…

Poor contact for standard length plugs

This is an overview of a fuse adapter. The product appears to be of excellent quality - thick wire, built in fuse and dust cap for the adapter when not in use. Unfortunately the jack is too shallow to hold the plug on my UTV speaker. At maximum indentation, the metal protrusions on the fork are still visible - the fork does not go all the way in. In this state, it can establish a connection, but as soon as a slight jerk is felt, it slows down enough to turn off the speaker. Still shaking a bit,
