Quiet, thin and powerful

Five out of five. I have 4 of them in the RVZ03 case. 3 of which were purchased separately and 1 with NH-L12S. One of them seems to have been filled up. The screw holes were a bit loose and some plastic sheets were missing, but that doesn't affect the correct operation of the fan itself. Below 1000 rpm they are almost silent. Around 1500 rpm is the best value for this fan, it is audible but it lets a lot of air through. The maximum fan speed is 1800 rpm and the noise is clearly audible but not…

A MUST HAVE for NR200 owners

If you have an NR200 and are wondering if adding some of these devices under your GPU will make a difference, I'm here to tell you, yes! I was able to put a few of these baddies under my 2.75 slot GPU, and the idle ambient GPU temperature went from 61C to 41C with NF-A12x15s at 40%. At less than 55% load, the fans are inaudible from a distance of 60 cm. When you hear it, the sound it produces is not an annoying high-frequency sound. Apart from the classic Noctua color, which is very polarizing…

Works very well in a Mantiz Venus MZ-02 eGPU case

The latest version of the Mantiz Venus eGPU case (mid 2018) uses a not-so-quiet 120x15mm PWM fan. In that case, this Noctua fan is a great replacement for the stock fan. After the replacement, the system appears to be quieter, but the airflow remains just as good. I wish the Mantiz case was easier to take apart! Compared to the Mantiz OEM fan, this Noctua fan looks and feels much better. This is truly a premium fan and the high price reflects that. But for me it's a good guarantee that the fan…

Slim, quiet, high quality and attractive.

Not only is it quiet and designed for use in places where a standard fan would not fit due to its thickness, it comes with a variety of cables to use depending on your overall configuration. A 4.25" extension cable, a 13" extension cable, and a 5.25" Y adapter cable to allow two fans to be connected to one fan power connector. They all have a strong braided jacket that eliminates exposed wires. I didn't know it came with these cables and was pleasantly surprised to find that I use two of them…

Great if you don't have room for large fans, otherwise great

I use this as the main exhaust fan in my build. In addition to this fan I have a NF-S12A as rear exhaust and two NF-A14 as front intake. Unlike traditional 120mm fans, the thinner NF-A12x15 can fit into Cooler Master Q300L's specified mounting points. The thicker fans push against the CPU/MoBo power connector and I would have to use different mounting holes. By being able to move the fan deeper into the case, I find that airflow has been improved through the VRM and my stock AMD Wraith stealth…

Great slim fans for tight spaces

So I built a new computer after working on the old one for more than 5 years without updating anything. I opted for an AIO water cooler in this new build and chose an appropriately configured case. Unfortunately, I didn't think to account for the spacing on the motherboard and memory heatsinks, and when it came time to install I found that the motherboard memory slots were way up on the board and the huge "wings" , which made up the memory heatsinks, further exacerbated this problem. In fact…

  • There are more interesting options.

Noctua has room to grow. (Please upgrade so I can buy more)

1-Ultra ugly fan colors, seriously, why brown and beige? does not fit any system. 2-They don't make much noise even at higher speeds, they're a lot quieter than all my other fans, but they seem to push air just as much if not more than Corsair fans. H205 kit.3 - I needed these slim fans to build SFF LABS - Ncase M1 mini itx. I could have used 25mm fans instead, but I needed more room for them to fit perfectly. Might buy 2 more as I could use another pair. 4-The only problem with these Noctuas…
