Norcold 323TR 1 7 Cu Ft Review

I received a used device. A dented door, broken drywall screws, extra holes, and used pipe tape at the intake. I did not order a used device.

Norcold was Original Equipment on our White Water Retro Trailer. We've found that the unit doesn't cool at all on DC or AC and everything freezes on propane. Later I learned to lower the temperature, but it was still cold. Propane is often difficult to ignite and recently after 5 years the propane nozzle appears to have been damaged (don't know why) and a large flame erupted from the propane zone of the unit and that was the final straw. I've had these in two new vans and they never worked. Not even at the beginning. I return it to be fixed, the techs fiddle with it for a while and they say try and return it if it doesn't work. The next trip. No fridge, go back and start over. Eventually I get tired of their attempts to fix it. Alternating electricity has always worked. It is good if you have parked at home. If I could put a zero I would. This is a freezer, not a refrigerator. I bought this to replace my old Dometic which broke after 20 years of service. At the highest temperature of the gas, it will explode soda cans and freeze them. The internal temperature ranges from 0 degrees Fahrenheit to 28 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the setting.
