Nordic Pure 16X25X1 Pleated Furnace Air Filters Review

I have been ordering these filters for myself and several other family members for many years. As some others have mentioned (see some if other pics were posted side by side) things changed with my last order of my merv12 filters. What was once a good solid box and filter that felt extremely strong and well built has now become a versatile/cheap filter. EDIT 9/21/20: Nordic Pure appears to have made the decision to release a much lower quality product than before. The newer filters didn't feel as "fake" as my original review and came in a branded filter box as they should, but overall they were terrible quality filters. These are great filters, much cheaper than 3M. You have worked very well for me. However, let me take a moment to address a few criticisms. Firstly, people complain that they come without any labeling, hence claiming that they are fake. The fact is that there are no markings on all Nordic Pure filter housings. The first warning sign was that this product came with all the filters in one box. It's all good, but none of them are packaged! It is believed that high efficiency air filters have a small amount of static charge that is retained on the filter until used by a non-conductive barrier - plastic film. I change my air filters according to the fan timers in my thermostats and since I buy filters in bulk I haven't bought one in a long time.
