I have changed the air filters in the air conditioner with good results. They really help

My wife is allergic to mold and we live in a humid climate. I have changed the air filters in the air conditioner with good results. It really helps, but we also use two Whirlpool HEPA filters.

I bought this filter as an upgrade to Nordic.

I bought this filter as an upgrade to the Nordic Pure MERV 12 that I had for my previous box and to be honest, I didn't notice much of the difference. The filters are true to size and I've never had any issues with them, but as I move up the MERV department I'd like to increase the filter capacity, but I haven't noticed that. It's still a quality filter though, and even with three dogs and living in a dusty area, I only have to change them once a month at the moment.

Item not as advertised

I bought Nordic Pure 20x30x1M13-6 20x30x1 MERV 13 Oven Filters thinking they would help clean the air for my terminally ill husband. Instead, I found these filters were throwing small white flakes all over my house. We originally thought the white flakes were coming from our canals themselves; and was sure these filters would help.
