Review on Nordic Pure 20X30X1M13 6 20X30X1 Pleated by Rob Rogers

I bought Nordic Pure 20x30x1M13-6 20x30x1 MERV 13 Oven Filters thinking they would help clean the air for my terminally ill husband. Instead, I found these filters were throwing small white flakes all over my house. We originally thought the white flakes were coming from our canals themselves; and was sure these filters would help. After almost a year of use, the white flakes have increased in volume and I find myself dusting every other day. This substance does not come from the outside as our windows are always closed due to allergies. There was no construction in our house. And as mentioned, the problem with using these filters has increased. Yes, they catch hair and dust on the "inside" of the filter, but they also shed some white, flaky material from the side of the filter that's on the inside of the oven (all filters are properly positioned: in the Cold air recirculation with an arrow on the product pointing INSIDE towards the stove.) Or maybe I trust the filters too much and they don't catch all the hair and dust so the increasing white flakes are ours. I don't know which is worse: the Merv 13 filter ejecting foreign matter or the Merv 13 filter not up to the task. I'm mad at myself for being so confident in the product that I'm letting it go for so long. Note. I change filters as close to the first of the month as possible. The maximum time we haven't changed the filter is probably two months. The performance of this product is terrible.
