I love these cookie cutters!

I love baking cookies for the holidays and these cookie cutters make it easy to bake unusual cookies! The Secret to Great Use of Stamps: Remember to use 1/2 sugar and 1/2 honey in your recipes to get good results with your stamps (all sugars leave no marks either). Haven't tried it yet but I like the metal cutout, heavy and durable. I will update if it's not good. Enjoy it!

Pros
  • Pretty Stuff
Cons
  • Safety

The presses would be good if it weren't for the wobbly handles

They are good but the handle broke off after the first use (flower) and that annoyed me. I can still slide it into a cookie, but it doesn't impress me (and the cookie) (see what I did there?). The other handles are also shaking a bit and I'm waiting for them to break off too. The presses would be great if it weren't for the wobbly handles.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Makes cookies look store bought

These stamps are amazing because they contain so many different recipes. We baked a grassy shortbread-like cookie and stomped on it - I would have thought it came out of the box if I hadn't baked it myself. The packaging is beautiful and very durable, suitable for a gift, and the stamps themselves have cute wooden handles. Initially, my dough stuck in the crevices of the stamp, but powdering with granulated sugar completely eliminates this problem. Buy and make your cookies beautiful!

Heirloom quality stamps but I made a few mistakes

These cookie stamps are fun, very well made and bring something new to my holiday cookie baking. I tore them out of the packaging and cooked them straight away according to the recipe. They make bigger cookies than I expected but with more detail. IMO - don't skip rolling them in sugar, it will help them get rid of the pistil. DO NOT use colored sugar. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but not cute! I used European butter because I felt unusual and thought the cookies would be very rich.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for seniors

Awesome Cookie Presses

Awesome Cookie Presses! Check out the recipe for Kittencal Creamy Sugar Cookies with Freezing Frosting on food.com. Make sure the dough is cold. Take a ball of dough the size of a golf ball; this flour; roll out to about 3/16 inch (don't try to roll out the entire portion of the dough); Dust the press with flour for each biscuit. You will be left with excess dough around the cookies. Size (regular kitchen glass). Use a wafer-thin spatula. Work on a lightly floured piece of parchment paper. The…

Nordic Ware's brands and customer service are the best.

These cookie cutters were easy and convenient to use. Coat the dough balls with a light coating of white granulated sugar, dip the press into a bowl of all-purpose flour, shake or shake off the excess flour, then press onto the dough ball. Lift the press, scrape the edges of the dough with a round cookie cutter or glass, and finally remove the excess dough from around your cookie. To experiment, I lightly buttered a cookie cutter before pressing it against the dough, and the dough stuck to the…

I ordered these after seeing them on the King Arthur Flour website; I have ordered NordicWare Bee Cookie Stamps in the past and really liked them and Starry Night Cookie Stamps do not disappoint. Three gorgeous Scandinavian-inspired designs are sure to brighten up your Christmas baking; They work especially well with gingerbread (recipe is in the box; I went with King Arthur Muka's Winterspice recipe (see comment below). Be sure to wash and dry the stamps thoroughly before first use dry; this…
