This small cape protects the floor well from hair. I cut my almost 4 year old son's hair regularly and it's a little difficult to get all of his hair before he can get in and follow it around the house. Now I use it and cleaning is a breeze. I use cordless clippers and some hair inevitably falls to the floor, but not in the way I used to have to quickly pick up clumps with a vacuum. It saved me a lot of time on my haircut. Beautiful and bright cape for hair cutting. It doesn't level up while you cut your hair and pick up the ingredients. There is velcro to adjust the neck opening but the velcro has sharp edges and feels scratchy and I have to be extra careful or my baby will start to complain. I wish they had used a nice softer velcro that doesn't catch on hair and has softer edges. The fabric looks like very thin nylon to me.

I used this to trim my son's hair and it keeps the hair out and keeps the floor clean. I like it and they like it when they don't have hair.
