Cuts well. on metalworking and general purpose drills

This is a nice little step drill. The tip doesn't "run" like some others and cuts very well. Its shank has good bearing surfaces that allow easy and safe cocking, and the bores are clean. The dimensions are fairly well marked on the body and the taper is effective. Good drill! Hope that helps!

Pros
  • Popular sizes
Cons
  • Not as thick as other drills

Tried another racquet and went through steel like butter Conclusion: This bit doesn't work. LET YOU KNOW I USE THE ROCKWELL DRILL ON THE SLOWEST SETTING. ABOUT 250 RPM WITH LARGE OIL. TO KID. UPDATE: AFTER READING THE REST OF THE REVIEWS, I NOTED THEY ARE FREE TO REVIEWERS. THIS ALL DEAL WAS A JOKE. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME FOR THE JOKE

It uses M35 high speed steel with 5% cobalt (HSS-Co) to allow drilling in stainless steel (use lower speeds to 550) with good lubrication like EVO DYNE cutting fluid. And it has a…
