Terrible ergonomics - you cannot hold the handle because of the smoothness and small diameter. The grip is good enough to support the puree but doesn't support whipping. I fixed the design flaw by wrapping bike bar tape around the grip.

I replaced all the kitchen utensils that had plastic in them. This stainless steel potato masher is sturdy and durable. The handle fits comfortably in your hand and makes it easier to puree potatoes and other cooked vegetables. I like the pattern of the mash section a lot more than the previous tamper than the holes. This works well and I like it a lot.
