Trash in the dollar store!

This is the worst junk! Should be sold in dollar store! The grater inserts pop out when you rub something, releasing a cutting blade to slice your hand! Plus, the grater blades are also plastic - give me a break! Goes straight in the trash. Cheap plastic - I'm afraid to press hard or it will break!

Pros
  • Dimensions 12"x4.25"/30.5 cm x 11 cm
Cons
  • I will be silent

Don't waste your money

I used this for slicing carrots for the first time yesterday and quickly realized it was a piece of crap. There are things that you can just look at and touch and understand that they are made in China. The screws holding the blade are not countersunk, so your food will hit the head of the screws every time you slice. The plastic is thin and fragile. Then I realized that the carrot I was trying to slice had greater structural integrity than the slicer.

Pros
  • Hand wash recommended
Cons
  • Doubtful

this article is like that. So.

I've had this item for a long time, the nozzles sometimes slip out, but if you handle it gently and carefully, you won't hurt yourself. You get what you pay for, and for me, a mandolin that I might only use once a month to make potato chips or hash browns or some augratine. I will not invest in a device over $50. If you are looking for something to add to your five star kitchen then look elsewhere but this item works and I am happy with it. also to the one who cut his finger there - you don't…

Pros
  • Ribs in the bottom for use with a bowl
Cons
  • I'm mad
