    Built like a cheap suit.

    This thing folds up like a cheap suit I didn't even want to try with grating cheese on this thing. I held it with both hands and JUST pressed on it to see if I could even push it up onto the counter to grate a piece of cheese... The handle collapsed. Honestly I im Dollar store seen better graters I wouldn't recommend buying this grater unless it's a prank to get your roommates to cut off their fingers.

    I have to agree with people who say it's cheaply made out of low quality metal. I wanted a solid metal grater because one day we broke the plastic handle on our old grater. Although everything was metal, it's definitely not durable stainless steel. After less than a year of use, the stitching came undone where the metal joins to form a box: my friend and I are not people with huge muscles, and we only use it to grate cheese. Ah, I miss the grater. my childhood! We threw it away after DECADES of

    This scrap is made of the thinnest and cheapest sheet metal. I've only used it 3 maybe 4 times and the handle broke. The metal is also so thin that the grater doesn't hold its shape, making it very difficult to use when grating potatoes or anything with the substance. I wrote to the seller with my complaint, not only no return but aggressive responses questioning my right to complain at all. "We are sorry that your item has already broken after 3 months.     I needed a plain stainless steel grater and it worked. At $8 I figured I had next to nothing to lose. For the most part I think this is a good product. It is relatively durable, it performs the functions of grinding to different sizes, the parts that actually cut are very sharp, the grater withstands occasional use in the dishwasher, and the steel used protects against rust fairly well. .
