Smooth slices every time

I love the design and weight of this cheese slicer. The blade makes nice smooth cuts in hard cheese. Sometimes with softer cheeses, I inhale a little, depending on how much moisture the cheese contains.

Ideal for thin slices of cheese.

This is the perfect cheese slicer! My family has always used this look and this one is just gorgeous. I don't wash it in the dishwasher so it will last a long time. The handle ages beautifully.

Just like my grandparents!

I was looking for a quality cheese knife similar to the one my grandparents had for many years. I think one of my aunts still uses it. Thanks to several reviews stating that it is very close to the knives they have owned for years, I bought it and I am very happy with it! It's very spicy and easy to use and the price was very reasonable! Not what I would have expected for a good knife. I hope it lasts for years. Will be updated if there is an issue.

Pros
  • Cheese slicer
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Sharp, thin slices, made in Norway

Great cheese slicer from Bjørklund. The same design was patented by Thor Björklund in 1925 for use in "Brunost/Gjeitost" or goat's cheese. It is still made in Norway, is of very good quality and versatile. If you're looking for a sharp cheese slicer for medium to hard cheeses that cuts thin slices and gives you the perfect size slices of cheese for your sandwich, you've come to the right place. This is a steal at this price. Fiskar's slicers are a good alternative, but they can't beat…

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
