This is not good for making meatballs, it will get stuck and hurt hands when used. Not a good product. Maybe making bath bombs is better than meat.

It is reliable and easy to use but does not work as advertised. You still have to turn the roller by hand after you pull it out, but it's great for accurately measuring your meatballs.

Was looking for perfect sized balls of dough to make baby shower cake pops and although they were larger than I expected no one complained about these giant candies.

Great for meatballs, but a little big if you use it for cake pops. Does what it says and will definitely give you the same sized meatballs, but the utensil itself doesn't feel sturdy. With prolonged use and rough treatment, the round part may break.

Meatballs can be easily prepared with this item, no more rolling the meat mixture. It measures perfectly the right size and makes compact meatballs. It's like holding scissors, although it might not be the most convenient thing, it's worth it just for the time saved on meatballs.

I bought this product to help make cake pops but it's too big for that. I ended up using it to make them all the same size by making one of them gigantic and then splitting it in half. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it was fine in the end. The holes on either side are nice so you can just stick the scoop in the middle of the food and it will come out either end to get the perfect size instead of trying to scoop the right amount.

Okay, must I admit that I can't make perfectly round meatballs? I have a feeling it's either my recipe or the fact that they fall apart in the pan for some weird reason. This little instrument is life, I say! I form my meatballs and then put them in the fridge for about 15 minutes before pan frying them and they hold such a perfect shape as the meatballs you see in restaurants, they are perfectly round. Another + about this item is the meatball recipe on the back of the box. Didn't try it but…

I have these in several sizes. Use non-stick cooking spray. I think it should be easy but it's for MY brain. - I'm not sure what the annoyance is, but the size of the metal ball you see on the end of the tongs, no matter what size or unit you buy, will be the size of the meatball it makes. You can't keep leaving bad reviews on products because you don't pay attention to 'small' details like size before ordering. A good product. Hard on fingers but I use a pair of kitchen gloves and I'm fine.
