The North Face Boys' Chilkat Lace II Boot: Winter-ready Footwear for Active Boys Review

I buy Northface boots for my son every year. I love her! Unfortunately these didn't fit. They have padding on the sides which makes the inside very tight. My son has wide feet. Unfortunately, I bought it early as a Christmas present, so there were no returns or exchanges until it was opened. (long sigh) I usually have no trouble trying on NF boots. They're great shoes! These didn't fit properly the first time.

The delivery was on time and the shoes fit my son perfectly. The inside is insulated and warm. The rubber toe cap on the heel prevents water from entering the shoe and keeps the socks dry. Great shoes.

I love these boots! After I placed my order for the child size, they sent me the adult size not just once, but TWICE! But despite being mis-shipped twice, it was quick and they look amazing on my son!

Good product. Bought with the first snow in my area. They haven't been needed since lol but at least we're ready. Warm and keeps his feet dry

It was a great shoe for my son. warm, waterproof and almost universal boot. Our only problem is that the hole isn't big enough and they have a hard time even putting on a shoehorn. without them the boots are almost impossible to put on. but if hey great.

My 8 year old wore them comfortably outside in the snow. It was about 10F and he and Dad shoveled the snow for about 20 minutes. Feet were dry and warm. The shoes are a bit heavy as expected. I increased the size to make room for thick socks.

Bought these for my 9 year old son. They are heavy like winter boots should be. He loves style and colors. Very stylish. He only wears them on very cold days or when it snows because he had lighter boots for everyday use.

The only reason I didn't give it any stars is because the sole looks unfinished, it's red and on top it should be a leather material with a North Face tag. But other than that these boots are made for winter and I can't wait to put them on in the snow!

These kids' North Face boots are adorable and really durable. They are true to size and are very well made. I bought them for my grandson and he loves them! We live on a farm so he needed something that was durable, warm, wet and easily scraped off all the dirt. They all do. I would definitely recommend them and will buy another pair when he outgrows them.

Great looks and great quality is what I expect from North Face. I was apprehensive about buying online but was really very happy with these boots. I also bought other boots - they were great too.

My son's foot wouldn't even get into the shoes. My son has quite a wide foot but given the length of the laces you would think the opening of the shoe would be wider. I like the look of the shoes though

These boots are strong. We live in northern Wisconsin and it gets very cold here in the winter. My son wore them in -40 degrees. And he said they keep his feet warm and I noticed they have a good grip on ice. I recommend these boots I have 2 sizes bigger because my child is growing faster so he can wear them next year too. It's a bit big but still good, really perfect perfect! Laugh out loud

Went to Europe in the winter, it was under a degree, my 7 year old son liked it. These boots are perfect for the snowy and rainy seasons. I bought a size up and put on thick socks to keep my feet warm. Booth looked good on him too. Highly recommended.

Just right for my active boys. They spent a week playing in the snow and used these boots every day. They don't usually like boots, but they could walk up and down the hill in them.
