What I received says made in Mexico. And it's too soft. A little use has had mixed results, leaving more stone than metal. There are already holes on the sides. It's just bad quality. I have a stone that my parents gave me, it's older than me and still barely worn after years of use. In addition, you will get consistent results with my old stone.

I'm new to Scythestone and this is our first Scythe Stone and won't be the last. I use this with a Seymour weed blade. It keeps my blade sharp and beautiful in seconds.
