It was really flat out of the box and lacked depth. Looks good after a wash, but worse after a few washes. It's great that it's faux fur because you can throw it in the wash, but it really needs some sort of lining to hold it in place and help it lay flat. It looks more like a thin, shaggy blanket than a rug. It's a good deal for the price, but I'd happily pay twice as much for something really as thick and durable as a real sheepskin rug.

I bought this rug to cover the ottoman in the living room. I partially folded it and now it covers the mismatched ottoman to make an impromptu section. It adds some texture to our living room and creates a cozy atmosphere. My cat loves to sleep on it and spends whole days lying on it and napping. I like to curl up in a soft blanket and stretch my legs out on it. Overall a great purchase. Sometimes I brush it with a steel pet brush to keep it looking fresh - it needs quite a bit of grooming.

Excellent artificial sheepskin rug! The fur pile is about 2 inches. It's thinner than real sheepskin, which is to be expected, but a good thickness overall. If you are looking for a thick lined sheepskin then this is probably not an option to buy as it falls somewhere in between. It was a great purchase! I have this in my bedroom in front of the dog beds at night and on the dog bed for decoration during the day. Pets love it and I love how it feels underfoot. I was more than satisfied with the quality of this rug/thread. I wash it every week and it still looks new, not faded, tangled or picking up dirt in the fur like others I've had and had to throw away.
