The best way to have a spare line ready to go

Ideal for emergency preparedness; There is no searching for a line to throw. Can be hung from an awning, railing or anywhere in the cockpit.

Cons

Good rescue rope for water work

The bag is light but the weight of the rope allows you to drop it from more than 60 feet without much effort. This is a nice safety feature if you get into a MOB (man overboard) situation. The rope seems strong enough to get a few people to safety.

Pros
  • Boating
Cons
  • Not safe

After much searching I saw this tote bag at Revain. At that time there were no reviews about it, but considering the price I decided to take a chance. God, that was a great move! This bag is amazing, light weight, comes with a good size rope, has reflective tape and with a little effort I threw it about 65ft on my first try. I can't yet assess the durability exactly, but so far it has held up without defects and signs of wear.

Pros
  • Docklines and Rope
Cons
  • Update Availability
