Essential tool for AC repairs

Do not buy: A/C Line Repair Tools

Valve Core Puller leaks horribly on first use. There is no gasket inside the puller that can seal when the valve is closed.

It seems like a good value.

And it almost seems to work but if you buy that to remove the cores it's junk and you can't get them out through the ball valve. I've used this to evacuate the gap, ideally remove the core, pull the vacuum, release some refrigerant to create a slight positive pressure, reinsert the valve, remove the VCRT, release the rest of the charge, and you're done .
