Simple mechanical system to assist braking in a towed vehicle. I had it on my first Jeep Wrangler and am installing it on my second.

Definitely NOT the same quality as the cable set that came with the original finished brake. The skin has tears every 2-3 inches. Who knows what other quality defects there are.

Although the product arrived as expected, the quality was very poor! The entire outer plastic case is cracked. I would return it but I had to install it next week due to a planned trip and didn't have time to wait for a replacement. Very dissatisfied.

Fast delivery and exactly as described! Works perfectly. This is not the first case for me. Installed on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. No problem with the product but installing it on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler is a little tricky due to the position of the master cylinder where I wanted to route the cable through the firewall to the brake pedal. NSA always offers excellent quality products!

I was disappointed with the outer rubber coating of the cable. When I took it out of the packaging, it broke and came loose. I know it won't weaken the cable and no one will ever see it, but it should be better quality or not turn on at all. This is the second car I've set up to tow with a Ready Brute Elite hitch. Everything else from this company is excellent.

Easy installation on Ford Flex. I've switched towed vehicles and couldn't find a replacement kit from the hitch manufacturer so I went with this one instead. This one is a lot easier to install than the original one I had and has to be left in while the one I needed before cuts the cable if the car wasn't towed. A small loop protrudes from the lower center of the front bumper, otherwise it is not even visible.

I bought this to replace the original NSA cable for our Ready Brute Elite hitch system that I had an RV contractor install 'professionally' in 2015. You routed the wire too close to the Jeep's exhaust manifold. almost in a straight line. Unfortunately, the cable jacket has melted onto the cable and prevents proper operation, so the brakes will not work in the towed vehicle.
