Great for boosting small radio reception

Great for boosting small radio reception. a little cumbersome to wear on your hip with this antenna, but great for in-car installation

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • I will add later

Thumbs up for AV accessories

"NSKI NA-771 Dual Band Soft Antenna (144/430MHz)" Better than the little rubber ducky that comes with your portable radios . You get a dB boost, but you still have to be in the right place.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in black

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good antennas for the price

I was expecting a significant increase in range, but it turned out to be moderate. This is probably more of an overestimate than an actual lack of opportunities. I have 2 of these that are on 2 different radios and I will probably buy more for others to line everything up. Good antennas for the price.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Modern

Essential for your radio!

It was a great purchase. He came to me after about a week and it really helped my radio pick up channels that are much further away. The standard antenna didn't work very well. We use these radios a lot when camping and hiking and the extra length is perfect for slipping into a backpack pocket.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Does the job at a great price.

Great antenna for the price! This works very well for my needs. The antenna I received is a fake Nagoya, but since it didn't claim to be Nagoya in the product description, I didn't care. I needed an antenna that would work on the sidelines of a public event without the need for interband interaction and it did the job perfectly. I had a strong signal from my Wouxun HT while other hams in the same location with the same HT and different antennas were having trouble hearing.

Pros
  • Widely used on portable radios with SMA connectors
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
