Terrible Oxygen Sensor for Automotive Use

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can tell this sensor is cheaply made and doesn't last long. It's a waste of money, as it failed within a few months. The only positive thing about it is that it was easy to install. Avoid this product if you want a reliable replacement part.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Skimpy instruction

Perfect fit for 2009 Mercury Mariner Hybrid - Upstream unit

We were fortunate to stock one at Revain. very nicely built. No more check engine light. I just cut the wire on the old one and after some PB blastering the long 22mm socket and breaker did the trick for removal. Then use a special O2 sensor socket to tighten and torque.

Pros
  • NTK O2 sensors designed specifically for applications OEM
Cons
  • Senior Citizen

Better than the original Ford.

I use my Mustang every day. So this winter, when we had a two-week streak of sub-zero temperatures, I had some problems. I suspect it was a combination of long pipe heads and extreme temperature shifts/condensation, but I went through 4 high O2 sensors in two weeks. I keep getting heater circuit codes and my A/F sensor has stopped working. You took care of it. I threw them in and the last month of winter driving went by with no problems. If you are using E85 you have headers or are just looking

Pros
  • Optimizes emissions and fuel economy
Cons
  • Not as fat as other options
