Serves its purpose and is easy to clean

A friend gave it to me for my wedding. He drinks wine quite often and believes that this is salvation - there is no need to wait! I don't know much about wine so I can't speak for it. But bottling creates a lot of bubbles and the wine mixes well. And it's easy to rinse. The only catch: thinner may not seal the bottle, but the cork. My reds go bad quickly (in a week or two) using only this strain. So lately I've started using the cork again when I want to leave leftover wine out for a while.

Great product at a great price

I've had my eye on aerators for a long time as I never plan on drinking wine ahead of time and I only like red wine. I was afraid there would be glass lying around that might break. In addition, this model received a good review from Cooks Illustrated. It met my expectations of quickly aerating the wine so it can be drunk sooner. The fruitiness of the wine was accentuated by an aeration that I did not expect. The aerator was exceptionally easy to use and the cork was an added bonus. My picky…

Just shut up and get it. After a tasting test, fresh open red before and after the nuance, then remove the nuance and pour again, we will NEVER do without it again. I'll turn the house upside down before I open a bottle of red wine without this thing. Gone are the days of opening a bottle of red wine and waiting an hour. Who has the patience to wait an hour? When I open wine, it's because I want WINE!. We recently had a large meeting and as part of estimating how many bottles of red wine to…

You will not regret it.

This is our second. Thank goodness it's still in production. The first one still works, but the rubber becomes stiff and doesn't seal. I left the old one as a backup. It went like this for about 10 years! The downside is that it's a bit difficult to get started at first. Pressing too hard creates a vacuum and leaves no pores. Lay it too loose and it will leak or fall out. The tapered, non-symmetrical spout must wrap around the top of the bottle stem to function properly. And be patient, it's…

We did blind tastings - it definitely makes a difference.

After purchasing one of these wines, my friend and I conducted a series of blind tastings over the past few months comparing the taste of Nuance sparkling wine to still wine (the taster not knowing which). I was sure there wouldn't be a really noticeable difference. Wine is just unlikely to change its flavor when cooked through. God I was wrong. Every time we did a tasting of every wine we tasted, there was a clearly noticeable difference. There is no doubt that this really carbonates the wine…

My favorite wine accessory so far

Revane says I bought 3 of these. I think I bought at least 6 but maybe on other listings. This is a great tool. I think I've been using this for at least 6 or 7 years. When I first started using it, my biggest fear was that I would leave it in a wine bottle and throw it away. I haven't done it yet. :) This product is perfect in almost every way. 1) It aerates the wine well 2) It stays in the bottle and bottles with differently shaped or oddly shaped caps 3) Does not require two hands to operate

Works great and looks good

Aerating wine improves its flavor really fast. So instead of waiting more than 10 minutes for the wine to steep, just pour it through this aerator and cheer. It really works. It even makes packaged red wine taste better—not like $100 wine, but better. this nuance makes it faster and more efficient. Aeration causes oxidation and evaporation, which in part means reducing the amount of bad compounds in your beverage. The wine may have notes of ethanol; that pungent smell/taste of alcohol. Ethanol…
