This is the fourth Nulaxy Blutooth FM transmitter I own. I had two cars, I bought one for my daughter. This is an improvement over previous models. Improved sound quality and the microphone's ability to hear and decode speech in noisy vehicle environments. Calls are clearer and voice commands are more reliable. I have several Nulaxy FM transmitters. In terms of functionality and sound quality, this is in no way inferior to the others. It's amazing how far they've come in the last few years. I have a Corvette z06 from 2003, I wanted bluetooth so I can listen to music from my phone and streaming services. I didn't want to modify my original radio either. This transmitter is the answer! Arrived on time, build quality is excellent, sound is clear, setup was very easy (took literally 5 seconds to setup). However, going for a design where the cable ports are placed on the top rather than the front of the unit means you are putting undue pressure on the stem and socket in the vehicle. This unit works fine but has no power switch. My truck's outlet stays on all the time. This transmitter doesn't draw enough power to drain the battery if left on all the time, but when I walk to the side of the house by the garage my phone connects to the truck's bluetooth.
