🏠 Solar LED House Number Plaque: Illuminating Address Signs for Houses Throughout the Night Review

I like the concept and the work of the light. It looks very nice. The plastic plate on which the numbers are glued is slightly bent in the middle. I thought this piece would be a little more durable, not just appear sturdy. I like it and would recommend it if sold.

I bought it and when I took it out of the box it caught fire but as soon as I took it outside it stopped. I wear it in the sun most of the day but it never turns on. It's really hard to see that low to the ground unless it's lit, so it's basically just an address sign, only when it's sunny outside. I would go back but it was outside.

Getting smarter with age I set it up and tried it out at home before installing it. Every day more shadows from cables and other things were projected onto the back of the screen. After removing the front lens, I found that the glue they used to hold everything in place melted in the hot daylight. Too much chaos to try to fix myself. Very disappointing as I like how it looked before it melted.

I have a new mailbox outside and needed an address so this was the perfect solution. This is a durable, quality product that doesn't feel cheap. The numbers provided (3 sheets so you have 3 of each number) along with the letters work well but the manual provided makes it very easy to center the numbers. It's been installed for 10 days now and sometimes when I get home at 1am the numbers are still lit from the day's solar charge. Overall very happy with it.

While I really liked the feel of this item, it feels solid and well made, but the device is unstable, some days it works, some days it doesn't, and all these days it is full sun so no clouds or no sun. The numbers melted the first day when the wiring inside melted and hang behind the front panel at night with the lights on. I had to wait for my house to be painted before I delivered it so I couldn't return it so I can't tell you what the returns are like with this company. I'll try to fix it…

UPDATE; It still works after 5 months and summer heat. I wasn't sure what to expect for the price - maybe a flimsy plastic sign. It is healthy. It looks like it will last a long time and survive the New England winters. I've read some wiring reviews - I've had it almost a month now and it's still as bright as day one. I've been looking at address tags for over a year. I can't get sunlight to the spots I wanted to put the sign on, so most of them seemed like a waste of time because it doesn't hold a charge.
