The product was opened, not sealed and there was no powder in the packaging. It's hard to trust something that isn't sealed on arrival.

If you have dogs outdoors that are exposed to heat (e.g. Texas) this product is great! It's also great for sick dogs or older dogs that get dehydrated easily! Really good stuff!

So far my sled dogs' fluid intake has improved somewhat. But it's only been a few days since I've used it. I will come back with more information on this product later in the winter when I really start my sled dogs full time.

I've been using it occasionally for 10 years. I add a scoop to about a gallon of water and distribute to all outdoor drinking areas around my property. I only use it once a week because I don't need it anymore. Keeps outdoor wildlife and anything that drinks from it hydrated.

I'm not a fan of powders as they don't dissolve well in water. This is no exception. However, both the dogs and cats in my house started drinking it without hesitation. Even our 20 year old cat who throws up a lot has benefited from this product, especially over the past few months of hot weather. It works and lasts a long time. I'm not concerned about the animals in our home becoming dehydrated during the warm weather months.

. I gave this to my pup not knowing it had dextrose as an ingredient, don't think it would be a necessary ingredient. So make sure you don't give it to them every day or your pup could have an adverse reaction.
