Enhance Your Central Vacuum System with Nutone 391 Replacement Gallon Review

The description said it was the Nutone brand. The bags I received were from the DVC brand which was supposed to be a replacement for the Nutone brand. I don't know how good they are, I'll probably just throw them away and go to my local store and buy original Nutone packs just to be on the safe side. I should have paid more attention to the picture than the description.

Haven't tried it yet. We are new in the house and the last bag has to be used. I gave you the highest rating because this is a bag that should be for a vacuum cleaner. My cleaners love the vacuum cleaner and so do I. I can set it up awkwardly, but the suction power is great! I don't hang up dust as the vacuum cleaner picks it all up. The bags are so good. I have not used these bags but was disappointed that they were not made by NuTone as advertised. NuTone bags are available on the NuTone website for a few dollars more. The bags sold on Revain might be a suitable alternative, just don't like ordering something that is misleadingly advertised. I can't help but think about decoys and switches.

Two consecutive Chinese-made Nutone bags were split on my Model 391 Vacuum System. If you've ever had a bag rupture, you'll immediately notice a drop in suction pressure. Be careful when removing the bag, because dirt will fall on the floor, and there will also be dust inside the drum - wear a mask. Also, dust gets into the secondary filter, which requires additional cleaning. Next I'm going to try some Made in USA bags, PN 44188, which should cost more.

As another reviewer noted, these are not original Nutone replacement packs. The image provided with this product is misleading as it is a genuine Nutone bag while the bags received are normal. However, it appears to be a quality pouch with thick filter material and a strong collar to hold on to. Central Vacuum An additional feature I found nice is a glue tab that can be used to seal the top of the bag when removed. While I haven't used it yet, I suspect it keeps debris from blowing back out of…
