I tend to go a little above the max line and my smoothie oozes into the blender base which gets messy, stained and impossible to fully clean. However, this version does not have this problem. The mixing concept of the bottles you drink from is great, but the blade part gets noisy and after 6-8 months wears out so much that it no longer rotates or rotates inconsistently. and begins to smoke and affect the taste of food.
