It was the perfect choice and the size I needed. I have a small center island that I wanted to keep and it fits perfectly. Not only does it fit perfectly, but it's made of very nice wood with stone, so it looks good too. It's also very easy to use, slicing cheese and some meats with ease. I am happy with my purchase.

This cheese slicer set is very pretty. It has small cutting parts that can stick to the magnetic side. The side cutting knife can also be cut into thin pieces very easily. I think this set lends itself very well to cheese and wine pairings. That's a very nice depiction. The board measures 6" x 11" and the clay in the center is 5" x 6.5". I think it's good quality for the price.

A nice cheese board! Comes with a set of knives held on a magnetic strip and a crumb brush. Slate cutting surface is easy to clean. It is important to pay attention to the size. It's really not for a big catered event. It's more suited to a royal treatment with a special piece of cheese during a zen grooming session or a romantic date with someone special!

What I don't understand is that this cutter doesn't have a cheese cutting wire but a flat metal rod. I tried using this once on a block of cheese and the rod flexes and doesn't cut straight slices. Other than that it looked really good and I'm sure the other tools were good but we didn't try them as the main point of a slicer was to fail. This has been brought back and it's really really bad, we'd love it if it worked.

Overall the board looks good and the included cheese knives are a great touch (otherwise this rating would be 1 star). Unfortunately, I was mainly looking for a board with a slicer arm built into the side. Didn't realize that this board doesn't use wire like other boards I've seen, it's thicker and can't be found online. The included cutting machine broke after a few cuts.
